![]() The movie lines have had quite a few and Prime has had some, though not very many, but the Universe/Generations line has been almost exclusively deluxe size. Since a few years ago when the Classics line turned into the Universe line, and a lot of voyager size toys of that line became shelf warmers, there have been very few voyager size classics toys. The next thing I saw was that the toy is very small. So, on to Shockwave.Īt a glance, Shockwave’s robot mode looks good, but the legs are a little scrawny. Shockwave does not have an Earth mode, so the Cybertron version of Shockwave fits right in. Shockwave is another good one for the classics set. A large dino mode Grimlock will be better than the little classics one from years ago. ![]() That is awesome, but why does Cybertron Grimlock have a dinosaur alt mode? On the other hand, some of the video game toys work well with the classics toys. Grimlock is supposed to come out as a voyager size toy. I am slowly getting to the point where I am liking them, but there are a few that still look funny or don’t make sense. I like many if the Cybertron modes in the IDW comics better, but the video games versions have a much different aesthetic. These Cybertron mode Transformers are new and unique designs. The next wave just came out and contains a somewhat G1 colored set of combatacons. The set was very popular and I think it helped raise interest in all the video game toys. ![]() The next release was the video game accurate version of the combaticons released at SDCC. The first wave of FoC toys came out just before the video game launch. Maybe someone in Hasbro’s upper management suggested to the marketing, toy development and media departments that they should coordinate their efforts a little better than they did for the Prime TV seriese. There were very few toys made from the first game, but he most recent, Fall of Cybertron has many more toys associated with it. This Shockwave is from the War for Cybertron video game series.
